Is Ram Infotech an authorised WD service center?

No. Ram Infotech is an independent data recovery and repair center. For replacement of a drive still under WD warranty, contact Western Digital. Warranty replacement does not include your data, so recover the data first.

My WD drive is clicking or not detected. What should I do?

Switch it off and disconnect it straight away. Do not run CHKDSK or free recovery software, because every power-on can cause more damage. Bring the drive to us as it is.

Can you recover data from a clicking or beeping WD hard drive?

Yes. Clicking or beeping usually means a read/write head or spindle motor fault. We open such drives in a dust-free environment and recover the data from a safe copy.

Can you recover files from an undetected WD external hard drive?
